The Ecology of Seeds

Awsome..!  This has been the best Fenner's book (here his co-author is Ken Thompson) I've ever read.  This is a scientific book that you can read it like you're in your non-scientific reading time; communicable and enjoyable.. just like the cover resembling a flower famously kept by Horton The Elephant in 'Horton Hears A Who Movie'.  My most interests are in their intensive review on 'Seed dormancy' and 'Gaps, regeneration and diversity'.  Here, you are ensured for a progressive definition of seed dormancy that seed dormancy is a characteristic, it's adjustable and sensible to the changing environment.  In respect to the existing theory of disturbances, the authors reviewded and established their definition between gaps, patches and safe sites leading to the concept of the role of gaps in maintaining species diversity.  Afterall, this book may also be fun and useful for those who's interested in germinating seeds with practical-ecological knowledge.
