ketimbang gratisan nongkrong depan tivi, akhirnya pinjem blockbuster biar bisa kutonton saat break pekerjaan.. kata temenku cerita sedih.. baca review di internet, katanya romance yg biasa aja antara si kaya dan si miskin.

basic theme -nya sih mirip 50 first dates hanya flashback and the strength of love with caring each other. Hanya tentu saja romance di Notebook lebih deep, gentle and dramatic ketimbang 50 first dates yg lebih dikemas comedy. Di akhir masa hidup mereka, Allie menderita anterograde amnesia. Noah menulis novel dan membacakannya tiap hari untuk mengembalikan memory Allie sekaligus their love and romance even it's only a glimpse twilight. Di bagian akhir novel ada tulisan tangan Allie "read this book to me every day so I can remember you".

The Notebook (2004 movie) is the same title as the novel by Nicholas Sparks published in 1996 in USA. The story was inspired by Sparks' wife grandparents romantic life. They have been married for 60 years by the time Sparks met them. Mereka sengaja tragically dipisahkan ibunya Allie selama 7 th sebelum akhirnya bertemu kembali dan menikah. Sang Ibu tak pernah menyampaikan 365 pucuk surat yg dikirim Noah untuk Allie. Noah wrote a letter each day for 365 days.

Pertemuan kembali yg mengharukan diawali dg dimuatnya gambar Noah dan rumah impian 'Noah and Allie'. Noah: I wrote you letters, I keep my promise. Allie: I am being irresponsible. Setelah Allie pergi utk being responsible to her fiancee waiting her worried in a local hotel 'Seabrook Inn'.. She comes back.
